Attendorn, Germany
Technology has given a new edge to the living style of a common people and its extant example may be seen in the sector of engineering that basically deals with the building construction. There are so many nations where the engineering technology has been developed but it was basically incepted in the Germany and since then, Germany has been residing on the top most position in this sector.
Got a chance to travel into Germany the non-touristic way and came across little town, Attendorn. The town’s location was favored by the good climate in the Attendorn-Elsper Limestone Double Basin (Attendorn-Elsper-Kalkdoppelmulde), the fruitful soil and favorable transport potential, and was already attracting people in prehistoric times.
Amazed by how German working in an industrial zone can so much enjoy the nature and restore to its most reserved. Among many well-known factories nested in Attendorn, Aquatherm GmbH rooted it’s headquarter since 1973, a world-wide active producer of plastic pipe systems for the potable water and heating sector. As company for development, production and installation, aquatherm developed fusiotherm®-plastic pipe system of polypropylene (PP-R) in for potable water and heating installations. Trade innovations were the basis for a constant growth. Today, aquatherm has and more than 74 marketing partners all over the world.
Ended the day at the Burghotel Schnellenberg, a beautiful 14th century castle that was turned in to an enchanting hotel located on a hill overlooking the village of Attendorn. The castle itself is full of history. It’s nice to walk down to the little village.
The perfect combination of technology and nature in a small town, Attendorn.
Impressive!
